The Latest From the One Duck Pond

The “Minnick Computer Services” business is prospering, the proprietor is pleased to report. Not only that, the business is whelming and not overwhelming. If it were overwhelming, Ol’ Ran wouldn’t be able to keep up with it and would likely have to just go feed the ducks. The business is steady enough to keep me from having to go fishing all the time but not so busy as to force me into hibernation or a trip to Russia. There have been a number of really good solid clients including the Springville Elementary School, the Sequoia Riverlands Trust, Parkview Apartments in Porterville, and a few assorted folks with assorted computer afflictions. The computer guy is getting closely acquainted with just about every inch of every computer ever built.

Add to that, I was able to vend a couple of laptops after having had access to them. One was a nice Compaq and the other a gorgeous Toshiba Satellite P205. Yours truly would have kept the big bad beautiful Toshiba except for the fact that it was running Vista as an operating system. There is no meter large enough to gauge this computer tech’s hatred for Vista. It is an evil foisted upon humanity by egghead geeks who dwell with bats in caves and have fungus growing on their gray matter. So…I sold the bloody thing to an unsuspecting friend who was pleased as punch to get a 900 dollar for almost half price.

And, other blessings are abounding. For instance, we were on our way to lunch in Porterville the other day. There was a yard sale only a few blocks from the restaurant so we knocked it over first. When we pulled up, we saw a computer monitor and a few computer cables. So….I presented my card to the guy there and asked if he had any other computer equipment for sale. Talk about knocked off one’s feet! He brought back a tower, a 400GB hard drive, a handful of PCI NIC cards, a PCI sound card, and various and sundry other chucks of good stuff. I bought the small stuff for ten clams (the 400GB hard drive alone is worth about 100 bucks by itself) then turned to see about the tower. “One dollar”, the guy says! “Works for me!” I heard the computer fixer say!

When the computer was set on the work bench that evening, there was a completely unexpected surprise. This thing had the original 20GB hard drive replaced with a 120GB one!! Then it was determined that there were only couple of things wrong. One was that the optical drives (DVD and CD drives) were jumpered incorrectly (meaning that the BIOS couldn’t see them). Also, the previous owner had attempted to install Windows XP on it but failed to make sure that the file system was FAT32. He used NTFS and this older machine’s BIOS simply cannot detect NTFS. And, if that doesn’t beat all, the box was hording 512MB of RAM! When it was all tidied up and the personalized software was installed, this little box was a screamer and worked flawlessly! It can easily be sold for about 200 bucks. Not bad for a one dollar deal!

A lot of the new business is because of the “Connie and Randy Flyer Hangin’ Company”. They go out and hang flyers all over the local towns and track down business by handing out business cards all over the place. The calls are coming in but it’s evident that someone is going to have to learn Spanish to be able to keep up with the times.

Spring has sprung. It’s blooming time in Springville (who’s spring is now on private property and inaccessible to the public). The orange trees on the back half of Dos Acres need to be harvested. We’ll be good for a couple of bags of juicers but will likely just list the harvest on Yahoo Freecycle and let a few folks come and pick them to their hearts are content. Last year’s oranges were sweeter than candy so we’re wondering just what they will be like this year.

Farmer Ran mounted the genuine Sears LT1000 lawn tractor the other day and finally cleared away the jungle. A couple of difugalties managed to block progress for awhile and the grass took off on a growing spree. One was that the trusty but dusty tractor had the unmitigated gall to toss its ground drive belt. That isn’t a biggy since you only have to remove four bolts from the rear hitch plate then reach inside and remount the belt. Then, the tractor evidenced its hatred for work by breaking the mower belt. If the blades can’t spin, the will be no mowing happening that day. Farmer Ran had to detach the mower section from the tractor itself. That was a first. Then, it took a few days to get back down to Hooterville and retrieve a belt from the local Sears store. That was sufficient delay to allow for a new forest.

After getting the new belt, the good farmer dutifully crawled about the tractor and replaced it the next day (making sure that there was no lack of skin to driveway contact). However, when the mower dude started the tractor up and took it for a test drive, he was engulfed in a cloud of dense blue grey smoke. There was no need that day for a BBQ’d tractor so it was parked in silence while the driver listened to the grass grow taller.

Within a couple of days of ponderating (sort of like pondering but with greater intensity) the intrepid tractor driver (well…semi-trepid tractor driver) hoisted up enough gumption to approach the work resistant 17.5 HP mechanical troll. After close and careful inspection and consideration, it appeared that a hitch pin was probably not doing its job (don’t you just hate lazy things?) and had migrated from its intended position (now, who could have been responsible for that?). The problem lay in that the idler/tension pulley wasn’t moving far enough back when engaging the mower. This allowed the belt to come in contact with the pulley bracket which then created great clouds of smoke. This in turn alerted the good folks around us that their neighbor was in violation of a “no burn day”.

Anyway, after dropping the mower section, restringing the v-belt, readjusting the cable, and re-securing the hitch pin, the mower section was again attached to the tractor (which is sort of like trying to pin a diaper on an elephant). With glee only muted by physical exhaustion, the good driver commenced his hay mowing project post haste. In only a couple of hours the place actually looked like someone other than the Adams family lived there.

A Serious Addendum to Pamela Geller’s Article

After reading Pamela Geller’s article, I couldn’t help but write about what I see happening in this country now. The facts are unimpeachable and the dynamics classic Hegelian. I cannot keep silent while America desperately fights for her own destruction.

One of the most serious of deceptions that liberals purvey is that they are something other than the National Socialist Party. It takes a mere couple of minutes and a Google search to prove incontrovertibly that they are stone cold socialists (what part of "spread the wealth" and "wealth redistribution" are people not understanding?). What is readily apparent from the search is that the Democratic Party’s agenda is point for point congruent with the American Socialist Party (beginning with the “New Deal in Socialism” foisted upon us by the Socialist and Communist infested regime of FDR). Further, the Democratic Party has the full endorsement of all other socialist and communist governments and groups world-wide (surely no one was absent when the Chinese insured Clinton’s elections with their dirty money).

While this in itself is monumentally significant, it pales in light of what is transpiring with both parties and their sinister ploy to conquer America. What is frightening is that it is working and working well with the aid of “we the people” as we surrender our sovereignty to them one day at a time.

The Democrats refer to the Republican Party as “Nazi fascists”. This statement does carry some weight as we will see. They (Dems) do not, however, admit that they are socialists and try to mask the obvious with flailing gestures, stentorian pernicious lying, smoke, and mirrors. However, true to their nature, they have openly demonstrated themselves to be the Neo-Nazi Party and expect everyone to view their Godless Marxist politics as normative. Gainsayers are castigated as being weak-minded, intolerant, ill-informed, and as being some sort of evil troll. They try to deflect the truth away from themselves so that the Republicans (or anyone else bold enough to take the heat for telling the truth) get the rap and appear to be the bad guys (which worked for this election).

Consider next that these National Socialists have foisted upon us a one party system that appears to fight among itself. It then becomes all the more evident as to why the Republicans stand around looking stupid and never deny the accusations flung at them by the Democrats. Half the country screams the answers to Democrat's accusations but the Republicans stick their fingers in their ears and just blather on about everything else without giving a rational answer. Or, they merely rant and rave exactly like the Democrats and continue to destroy our country. The puzzle pieces come together as a picture that is quite clear: nothing actually changes because both parties are allied against our nation.

Yes, I did say that we have a one party system. Stop and think about it. A maxim known for millennia is that a house divided against itself cannot stand. What we now have is one (socialist) party (since FDR) that can only be differentiated by the dynamic of from whom to steal and to whom the booty is given. The other difference is a pretense of a presumed moral high ground with the Republicans feigning a concern for unborn babies, Christians, and the Constitution. The Democrats, on the other hand, have no pretense. They have neither morals or morality nor any regard for the Constitution, think that Chrisitans are weak-minded morons, and they have no conscience whatsoever toward slaughtering babies in their mother's wombs and destroying our children with homosexuality. Despite any appearanace of difference (a key socialist strategy), we still have Socialist Party A and Socialist Party B with both striving to conquer America.

Since I first voted in the 1970’s I’ve heard the same rhetoric election after election. Without exception they have all said, "change this, change that, change, change, change" (Obama was hardly the first. He was just the loudest). I've seen nothing positive about any changes so far. The Republicans (supposedly "conservatives") particularly have failed to change much at all in the previous 40 years. Roe vs Wade would be a good example. That hasn’t changed though 4 of the previous 6 presidents (prior to Hussein Obama) were Republicans. That speaks loudly to me especially since conservatism has not been protected at all (meaning that I have fewer rights now than ever). The foisting of homosexuality upon this nation went almost unimpeded because Republicans were not actually fighting against it (and they still have yet to change their attitude to this day). They compromised and compromised and compromised with the Devil and threw the nation's morality into the toilet. Look where it has gotten us.

A classic example of the Republican sell out was recently demonstrated during the sham and hoax that was called an "election". When asked point blank if Obama was a “socialist”, John McCain stated that he didn’t think that he was. It doesn’t take a rocket surgeon or a Navy fighter pilot to know that there is nothing about Obama that can be categorized other than “hard-core socialist”; not one part of his education, not one part of his agenda, not any part of his stimulus plan, none of his friends, not one part of his fake Christianity. Not one thing.

To his credit, McCain previously had bravely admitted that Obama was, indeed, a socialist. However, the phone call in the middle of the night advising him to retract the statement or his wife would be a concubine of an Arab terrorist within a month probably somewhat influenced him to recant. McCain isn't exactly a marshmallow. He faced some pretty tough cookies in 'Nam so you can guess the evil that he is dealing with. Anyway, McCain's answer was right in there with “I did not have sex with that woman”. He couldn’t possibly have given any other answer without revealing that the Republicans are also socialists (while pretending to not be). He couldn't reveal that he was just another puppet of the Nazi party.

The Republican Party does tend toward fascism. That is no accident. If you listen to the Democrats and shy from the Republicans, you become a part of the socialist system. If, on the other hand, you defend the Republicans, you defend fascism. Either way you embrace the “system” and play into the hands of the orchestrators of an obvious plan for a melding of the two parties. Actually, the parties are melded. It just has to be accepted by the American people.

Hasn’t it been apparent that the differences between the two parties have become almost indiscernible? Has anyone noticed that the Republicans today are exactly like the Democrats of twenty years ago? Hasn't it also become apparent that the Democrats are now yelling foul regarding the erroneous Republican policies that they themselves espoused not long ago and are implementing after the election (exactly like FDR and gang did with Hoover)? Hasn’t it been readily apparent that, no matter who we vote for, nothing changes and that both parties appear to be doing the same thing time and again? Doesn't the country just keep getting more socialistic and doesn't the government just keep growing and growing becoming ever more like Jabba the Hut despite our founding fathers' heroic efforts to not have it that way? Johnson gets us into a war and then Nixon gets us out. Democrats are the bad guys. Bush gets us into a war then Obama promises to get us out. The Democrats are the good guys. This is change? This is an insidious ploy that appears to pit the parties against each other but all the while it is bringing them together under a socialist (Democrats) fascist (Republican) dictatorship….just exactly like the Third Reich Nazi Party and exercising the textbook Hegelian approach.

Let’s take a look at a few facts (and you may have noticed that neither party ever allows facts to interfere with a good socialist doctrine because they don’t believe in absolutes. Truth is an absolute). For one, the name “Nazi” is short for “Nationalsozialisten” or “National Socialists”. It actually began as “Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei” or “The National Socialist German Workers' Party”. One might even say the “We Hate The Rich But We’re For The Working Class Folks Party”. Sound familiar? What we do need to note is that, much to the chagrin of the Democratic Party, it does not mean “National Fascist Party”. So, when Dems call Reps "Nazi's", it's merely the pot calling the kettle black.

Here is a really scary matter that the liberal deceivers of America hate to see flung in their faces. Fascism does not preclude socialism and socialism does not preclude fascism. This is a noisome fact that the Democratic and Republican Parties desperately hide and why the Republicans are complicit in this matter of America becoming a socialist country. We can say it this way: the Democrats are fulfilling the socialist aspect of the deal while the Republicans fulfill the fascist aspect (e.g. GWB and his 14 points of fascism http://www.oldamericancentury.org/14pts.htm - though much of this is what the hypocritical Democrats themselves do in all un-ashamedness). You would be correct in concluding that we are headed for a “Fourth Reich” but with a different Fuhrer. But, again, the Democratic Socialist Party doesn’t allow history to be involved as it troubles their agenda. The Republicans remain silent on the real issues but proclaim the evils of the Democratic Party which merely undresses their fervency to become united with the newly elected socialists.

From another angle we can see that, under the cover of “Liberalism”, the national socialists have now become the stronger leg of the Neo-Nazi Party. They use the time-honored scheme of telling lies long enough until people believe them. They use the prime directive of socialism as well; “Change everything except what appears”. For instance, they scream about “rights” but then change the rights of parents to discipline their children and to rear them in the way that they see fit (and according to their religious convictions as we have always done in this country). They talk about “comprehensive immigration reform” but then promote legislation to remove the borders of their country for mass invasion. They talk about border security but throw Border Patrol officers into jail for doing their jobs. They scream about rights but force homosexuality on us and remove our rights to object to such perversion the likes of which has never been a standard or accepted in our land. They change the right of freedom of religion in public and pervert “separation of church and state” to mean “separation of God and state”. They change “freedom of religion” and force it to mean “freedom from religion” and remove the rights of those who practice the Christian faith according to their conscience (while protecting the “rights” of witches, devil worshippers, pagans, heathens, Buddhists, and Muslims to practice freely). They change (restrict and remove) the Second Amendment right to bear arms so that we cannot protect ourselves from evil (a quick check of their aberrent philosophy shows that they do not believe that there is such a thing as “evil”). They have already removed property rights (with the help of the Republicans) which is the first plank of the “Communist Manifesto” so that the state owns all property. In fact, if you look at the ten planks of the “Communist Manifesto”, you will see that most of them are fully in place now in this country (with the help of the Republicans). Let’s hear what “The Socialist Party” candidate for President of the U.S., Norman Thomas said in a 1944 speech (recently circulated in an e-mailing): "The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism', they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened." He went on to say: "I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democratic Party has adopted our platform."

When we incorporate this information with the article from Ms Geller, it’s easy to see why she is so concerned. The only question is why isn’t every single American as equally concerned about the new “syntheses” happening right under our noses? Can we use the term “willfully ignorant" here? The fullness of fascism and the fullness of socialism are coming upon us as a nation. This overthowing of our government is happening even as our borders are being overwhelmed by an invading army about which the government is completely unconcerned (the aliens obviously need some of our wealth spread their way).

In a time when there is more information available to any breathing human than at any time in history, Americans have been lead like ignorant sheep to vote for what any sane person can see is a man who was groomed by the Nazi party for the position of President. As, Ms. Geller so clearly noted, Obama has never so much as managed a Dairy Queen but is now the leader of the most powerful nation on earth. The fascist pieces are in place and the socialist pieces are in place and the picture being presented is as easy to put together as the puzzles in Kindergarten.

Obama has promised "change". You can bet there will be some horrific changes made but they will be made to appear to be most palatable and welcomed yet engendering slavery while both parties point the finger. Hitler made the same promises for change. He sowed the wind but reaped the whirlwind. We need only to pick the next leader of the Reich....unless we already have.
